Hawthorn Massage was established by owner and Licensed Massage Therapist of 15 years, Caila DeMint, in 2026. Meant to be a place of relaxation and recuperation, for ages 5 years and older, Hawthorn welcomes the stressed, the tired, the aching and the recovering. Whether it’s your first time receiving a massage or not, Hawthorn welcomes you.Caila DeMint, Owner and Massage Therapist, understands that things happen in life. Up to one child is welcome in the room if childcare cannot be found last minute, just let her know. Just found out you are pregnant. No problem. Hawthorn caters to first trimester pregnancies and on. Are you a chemo patient? Oncology massage services are coming soon! If you desire to book your child (5-15) a massage, you will need to fill out a waiver and stay in the suite with the child till the massage is over.New clients will need to fill out a short form after arriving for services. If you have had surgery in the last 6 weeks, please wait till the 6 week healing process passes so that you are at your least tender to receive services, unless approved by a doctor with a doctor’s note copy for personal file.Contraindications pertaining to your health may prevent you from receiving certain services. The therapist will inform you about any that pertain to your situation and see if there are alternatives that can be recommended, or you will not be charged for the service. At this time, there is no deposit required to hold your appointment, or credit card required to hold your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, we ask that you let Hawthorn Massage know as soon as you can or 2 hours before your appointment.Therapist is allowed to cancel appointment in turn if there is a situation of inappropriate conduct or if your medical situation would be hindered by massage. Hot Stone massage adds a level of heated relaxation to sooth sore muscles and gently increases poor circulation. Hawthorn uses Himalayan hot stones which additionally leave trace minerals behind on the skin to absorb that the body does not regularly get as well as help with exfoliating dead skin cells. Pressure levels range from light to firm.

Deep Tissue massage is a great intermediate massage meant to either supply a deeper level of pressure and or strip tight and congested muscles and reduce knots in the body limiting mobility. Hawthorn’s Deep Tissue massage is what the owner specializes in, incorporating light stretching and optional Bio Freeze Gel to help calm super sore areas after the massage.

Whether you have just found out you are pregnant or days from giving birth, Hawthorn welcomes all women from first trimester on to come for a prenatal massage to increase circulation, sooth aches and pains and relax you through this new chapter in your life! Ranging from light to firm pressure with flowing strokes, light stretching and optional aromatherapy, we simply ask you let us know of your life change before you arrive so we can set your massage up for extra comfort.

Swedish massage is an excellent introductory massage whether it’s your first massage or you are just looking to relax and get a little muscle relief. Done with a pressure range between light and firm with long flowing strokes and light stretching, this massage is designed to relax the muscles and increase circulation while aiding the relaxation of the nervous system.

Hawthorn’s Stretch massage combines flowing strokes with pressure that ranges from medium to firm pressure with slow muscle stripping and passive stretching to the extremities, neck and pectorals to assist with preparing you for athletic events or help work out muscle constriction. Steam towels optional to help relax tough muscles.
